Compositions
In my compositions, I engage directly with historical idioms and styles, treating them as living languages suitable for contemporary expression. I view the use of styles that have their roots in the past not as “an anachronism, but rather as part of the wonderfully diverse creative possibilities available to us today” (Ö1 Talentebörse, 2025).
Music for the Austrian pavilion at the 2025 World Expo, Osaka (2024). Commissioned composition, featured April–October 2025, Osaka. Recorded by Juliane Ritzmann (solo piano) and the Mozarteum Akademieorchester conducted by Alexander Drčar.
La Locandiera (opera buffa in 2 acts) (2022). Libretto by Gaetano Rossi (1800), based on the play by Carlo Goldoni. Premiered November 30, 2022, Wiener Saal, Stiftung Mozarteum, Salzburg.
